Alissa is an illustrator and mother of two
living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Alissa has loved to draw since she was born,
and sensed a calling when she never outgrew
her love for cartoons and children's stories.
She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from
the University of British Columbia, majoring
in painting and digital art, and has worked as
a 3D animator and a freelance Japanese to English
translator before taking the leap to pursue her
dream of illustrating for children full-time.
